Fitting in nicely with our series of non-musical, spoken-word-forward albums, "Diseased Fancy" is field recordings of field recordings, time transcended through white-out on tape, beer after beers. A work equal parts intoxicated and intertextual ~ an elegy and biography that twists the boundaries between form and content. A loving, treated anthology of a private artist's experiments. Could almost be described as "vernacular tape music", since it is a curated selection of a family member's creations that were not made under the auspices of "noise music" or ever intended for public consumption.
Ffo analog musique concrete, experimental music in the most literal sense, and extremely relaxed harsh noise wall.
