On “Hugo’s Polish…” we find Natalja (aka Natalia Panzer) performing alongside an audio language course. Natalja is perhaps not the best student, we are present in the classroom as Natalja and her workbook begin to stray from the course rubric. I find the aural feel of this release to be enchanting but not without a certain dynamism ~ every time I get into a groove Natalja slams the FF button and we whirr along to the next lesson. For fans of spoken word poetry, Polish culture, musique concrete, and “millennial field recording jams”.
